The main benefit of RFID was ever the price,overall in long inventory. We can Buy 1000 tags for the same price of 10 BLE dont have comparison. But now with paper tags all the game changed. About the hardware too its possible get a IOT gateway for less than $100 instead a rain RFID device over $1000. In business terms depending on the type of business it’s easier deploy BLE solutions. But what if deploy a hybrid solution? why not merge a RFID devices and BLE in the same platform? Could Navigine integrate RFID devices?

Yes, RFID’s main advantage is its price, but unfortunately this type of technology doesn’t suit some of use location-powered scenarios.
